Stop-action photography captures a moment in time so short that it would otherwise have gone unnoticed. The basic technique is this: 1) turn off all lights in the room 2) open the camera’s shutter 3) break something and at the same time 4) trigger a strobe to capture the moment.

I used this technique for all the lightbulb photos.
